1. Agreement to Terms
By booking an appointment with Canterbury Lash Extensions, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to protect both the client and the business, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for everyone involved.
2. Patch Test
A patch test is required at least 48 hours prior to your initial eyelash extension treatment. This test includes the application of 4-5 eyelash extensions per eye using adhesive, as well as testing the other products we use such as oil-free makeup remover, saline solution, glue debonder, eye pads, and tape etc..
Reactions: If a reaction occurs within 48 hours of the patch test, you must inform your therapist immediately and refrain from proceeding with the full treatment. In such cases, your booking fee deposit will be refunded.
Booking fees: A booking fee of £20 is required at your consultation, which can be paid via cash or BACS (please note there are no card facilities available). Your booking fee secures your full set appointment. If you cancel your full set within 48 hours, or decide not to show up then your forfeit your booking fee. This is to cover the loss of earnings for that appointment booked out to you. This £20 booking fee is redeemed off your full set price.
Clear Test: If no reaction occurs within 48 hours, you may proceed with your treatment, and the deposit will be applied to the final cost of your eyelash extensions.
Liability: Even if the patch test shows no reaction, there is a small chance of an allergic reaction during or after the full treatment. In such cases, the lash technician is not liable for any adverse reactions. However, a free removal will be offered if deemed safe after careful assessment.
3. Aftercare and Maintenance
Aftercare Compliance: Clients agree to follow the aftercare instructions provided by the therapist to ensure the longevity of the eyelash extensions. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in premature lash loss, for which the therapist will not be held responsible. Eyelash Extensions which have been maintained incorrectly will not qualify for an infill.
Follow-Up: If you experience any issues or are dissatisfied with your treatment, you must notify your therapist within 5 days of the appointment. While refunds are not issued for lash treatments, we are committed to resolving any issues and ensuring customer satisfaction. Our products have been tried and tested over the years so do work with hundreds of satisfied customers over the years. In the event of any issue it is usually incorrect aftercare etc, however we will always try to assist.
4. Health and Safety
Medical Disclosure: You agree to inform your therapist of any changes to your medical history, including any new allergies, conditions, or medications that may affect your suitability for eyelash extensions.
Product Safety: All products used during your treatment are carefully selected and tested by Frankie Widdows. However, Canterbury Lash Extensions is not liable for any adverse reactions that occur during or after the treatment.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Cancellations: Appointments canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled time, or no-shows, will be charged at the full price of the service. This is to cover the loss of earnings from the missed appointment, which cannot be filled at such short notice.
Rescheduling: If you reschedule your appointment within 48 hours of the original booking, a £15 fee will be added to the service price to cover the loss of earnings from the original appointment allocated to you.
Lateness: Please arrive on time for your appointment. Lateness will reduce the time available for your treatment, but the full price of the service will still be charged. Your therapist cannot over run due to other appointments scheduled after you.
6. Refunds and Adjustments
Refund Policy: No refunds will be issued for completed services. If you are unhappy with your treatment, you must contact your therapist within 5 days, and we will work with you to resolve any concerns.
Service Adjustments: In the event of dissatisfaction, your therapist may offer adjustments to the service at no additional cost, provided the issue is reported within the specified timeframe.
7. Client Conduct
Respect for Business: We ask that all clients respect our business and our time. We are a small self employed business, and cancellations, no-shows, and lateness directly impact our earnings and ability to provide high-quality services to all our clients.
Communication: Clear and respectful communication is expected at all times. We are here to provide you with the best possible service, and mutual respect ensures a positive experience for everyone.
8. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
Canterbury Lash Extensions reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes via email or during their next appointment.
9. Acceptance of Terms
By booking and attending an appointment with Canterbury Lash Extensions, you agree to these terms and conditions in full.
